To graduate from high school, all students must complete one credit of a Fine Arts course. We have options for all students in music, visual arts, dance, and theatre arts. See the list at the bottom of this page for the full catalog of Fine Arts courses offered at Howard County high school level.
In addition, students must complete a half credit in Lifetime Fitness (PE) and two half credits of Health 1 and Health 2. We recommend taking Lifetime Fitness and Health 1 together during freshman year, and Health 2 in junior year. In order to fill the other half credit for students' schedule in junior year, we offer semester options for students in Guitar 1, Piano 1, Introduction to Visual Communications, Dance for Athletes, and Technical Theatre.
For all inquiries contact Mr. Richard McCready, the Fine Arts and PE/Health Team Leader
