- You can use an existing sketchbook you might already have
- Your teacher can help you in making one – this must be done ahead of the date when a sketchbook is needed
- You will use it in your next Visual Arts course
- If you are having trouble getting a sketchbook because of money, time, or access please talk to your teacher – it is something you will need and we want to help in any way we can. We often have sketchbooks left behind or donated by students that can be given out.
- Can be bought, here are examples from Michaels or Amazon
- #2 (HB) Pencil
Advanced art and photo classes may necessitate additional supplies based on a students own interests and explorations. Michaels, Blick, the MICA Store, and Artist and Craftsman Supply are all great resources.

- Film processing is done at school, outside services we recommend:
- Full Circle Fine Art Service is a Baltimore location for getting film processed – the only one in the area (make sure to say you are a student for a discount)
